She doesn't wield her spear, but aside from that, this representation of Boudicca would have been quite recognizable to the Romans she fought! She was described as having very long red hair, a gold torc, and a tunic of many colors fastened with a brooch, all of which you see here. My Boudicca also has 'woad' facial tattoos!
