I am Ajysyt, Mother Goddess of the Yakuts. I am honored to attend all expectant mothers during their births, bringing their child's soul home to begin a new life. In that first breath taken by a new baby, I give a soul to breathe in, making a whole person to love and be loved.

Yakut sits cross-legged, holding a newborn babe. She is dressed in red velour, and her black hair is adorned with a white "fur" headband. She wears a necklace of moonstones.
The baby is needle felted and sits comfortably in the Mother's arms.
I've used the red, white, and black colors symbolic of the Great Goddess, and the bottom of the doll is tucked in and open, like the yoni from which we've all sprung. :)

11" Ajysyt is $65

A note on the seated dolls: they have no spines, so they still need to sit against something, or be propped in some way.
