Asherah wears a dress the color of the fertile Earth. Her necklace is the blue of the deep seas, with a silver spiral symbolizing the never ending gift of Life which all Mothers bestow. The different strands of color in her hair symbolize the different stages of Life which make us women, and she is adorned with golden rings, another symbol of eternity. As Consort and Wife to God, the rings seemed appropriate, a sign of the Hieros Gamos, the Sacred Marriage.
